At The Sound Basement we are committed to providing a clean and comfortable space for you to work in. Whether you are recording or rehearsing, our professional studios combine a creative atmosphere with expert staff and equipment.

We have recording package deals to suit any budget and are able to assist in planning your next project. Demo's, E.Ps, Albums, MySpace Packages, Press kits, all at affordable and realistic prices.

The Sound Basement offers many services in addition to rehearsals and recording ie: Film clips, Photography, Promotional services, Web design, CD / Merchandise art and design, Pressing, PA Hire, Live Sound engineers, Audio Editing for any purpose, Storage, Tuition, instrument repairs and set ups.

We are currently working on a getting our  new label LOUD PANTS up and running which will be accessible to the bands that come through here. We have some cool ideas with this and look forward to launching it. (There have been rumours of a death defying stunt)

We are happy to help out with advice and to take time out and answer whatever questions you may have. Young and new bands benefit  from our friendly and experienced staff.

The Studios open at 10 am every day and close whenever the last band leaves!! (we are very flexible). The Sound Basement is a non smoking studio although there is an under cover area for smokers. There is a flat load in to the studio with trollies available. The convenience of storage is also available.

We are easy to find and there is heaps of parking.

Our rock shop stocks Freshly made sandwhiches, drinks, fresh fruit, pies, sausage rolls, muffins, biscuits, noodles as well as the usual studio foods (chips, chockies etc). Free tea and coffee is available. We also stock strings, picks, sticks and skins.

You are also welcome to bring your own drinks and food, leave your beers in our fridge, heat your dinner up in our microwave or use our focaccia toaster. There are heaps of great restaurants of all kinds in the area that deliver (my fave at the moment is the turkish pide)
